HOW WE DO IT IS JUST AS IMPORTANT AS WHY

NURVA is an important enabler of innovative concepts and technological advances, in particular, experimentation and development of next generation solutions that act as an agent of change for the ever-increasing and diverse demands of the future.

New concept development and experimentation plays a central role in our mission to identify new possibilities for challenges that lead to significant technological advances. The foundation for all project engagements is the utilization of the NURVA New Concepts Development Methodology (NCDM). NCDM is a forward-looking process for developing and evaluating future-oriented concepts, solutions and systems in the most effective and efficient way.

A core component of NCDM is utilization of the System/Work Breakdown Structure, which is just one of the key strategic processes we utilize for turning the vision into reality.

METHODOLOGY

We utilize the System/Work Breakdown Structure as a framework for the technical objectives of our projects and programs. Its use defines the complete effort of work to be performed by all participants in an effort to:

[+] Transform an operational need into a description of system performance parameters and a system configuration through the use of an iterative process of definition, synthesis, analysis, design, test, and evaluation.

[+] Integrate related technical parameters and ensure compatibility of all physical, functional, and program interfaces in a manner that optimizes the total system definition and design.

[+] Integrate reliability, maintainability, safety, survivability, human engineering, and other such factors into the total engineering / production effort to meet cost, schedule, supportability, and technical performance objectives.
